In Memory of Kamber

Yesterday we ran well walked the Turkey Trot! I ran a couple years ago but this year was special, we ran in honor of sweet Kamber. Our sweet freinds Ethan and Jen who we think of and love like family lost their little girl in July. We love Kampers and it was an honor to run for her. Thank you Jen for letting us be apart of it.
Here is everyone in their Kamber Shirts

All of us that ran and walked the race

I wore a picture of Kamber around my neck. She is so beautiful!

Mindy and I as we finished the race

Tanner and I before the race. (Tanner didn't end up running. Boooo)

Candi,(Kamber is her niece) Me, Savanna and Melayne

Our nephew Major. Kamber is his cousin and they are the same age. They loved playing together and its hard to think that he won't get to have her with him in this life anymore. But Major still talks about her so we know she'll always be in his heart.

The shirts said "In Memory of Kamber Larsen 2/10/06-7/25/08. Jen calls her the Flip Flop Queen because thats all she wore. So the shirts also had a pair of them with a halo obove them. And of course it was written in purple because that is Kambers color. We love you Kampers!

Sisters

So it's funny how you come full circle in life. When you're young and you're sitting in church with you're family it's hard to sit still and be quiet. You laugh, talk, tease, and sometimes fight. Your parents give you the evil eye or shush you. Then your parents finally teach you to sit and listen..... Then you grow up. Last Sunday we all went to Tyler (my brother's) ward because it was their primary program and Drew and Nate both had speaking parts. Well I've realized that sitting with my sisters is NOT the best idea. For those of you that don't know I'm one of ten kids, and nine girls. There we were almost all of us all grown up and everything was funny. It didn't help that when the primary sang their first song "I Am a Child of God" Ciera started singing out loud along with them. Or that they had a very cute Priest blessing the sacrament and we spent the first 20 minutes teasing Ciera and thinking of ways she could get his attention. My idea was to put her phone number in the sacrament carrier.... I know we're terrible. It didn't help that during one of their songs we hear this odd sound and realized that one of the primary kids was leaning on the organ.... it REALLY didn't help that it was our nephew Nate, he'll be four next week. We didn't get the evil eye because my mom was busy wiping tears from her eyes... because she was laughing right along with us. And Tanner would try to be the example but then he would pull Ciera's hair during the prayer. Last time we were at Ty and Heather's ward the old lady in front of us turned and shushed us, so at least that didn't happen. So many other things happened that would only be funny if you were there and in the mood we were all in. I have to say it was one of the best Sacrament meetings I've been too in a very long time. Thank you to my sisters for being so fun, I'm very thankful for the relationships we have. Sorry Andrea, Laci and Savanna couln't be there we missed you! And the boys did wonderful! They are so sweet and I love them so so much!

Jackson

Last night we were over at Janae and James's house. And it turned out to be a momentous occasion! Jackson who I am so in love with finally said SHASTA!!!! Well it sounds more like "Sta" but he said it! I think since I first held him in the hospital the day he was born I've been pressuring him to say my name. It only took him 1 year and almost 8 months. He has now set the bar, when Lana gets here she'll have to beat it. He also said T for Tanner wich is exciting but we all know that he loves me more. We love him and it totally made my day! Thanks Jackson for being so dang sweet!

The End

Really America? Really? What a sad day for us all. Get ready because we will soon be citizens of a socialist, communist country. Don't worry our new Prez won't have to worry he's not a FREAKING citizen of this country anyway.
Love you all! I love our country, too bad it's full of selfish, evil people.
