Denna

Last month Tanner's cousin Denna Strebe passed away.  Very unexpectedly.  She left behind her husband and four children. The events that took place were so tragic, my heart goes out to her family.  Denna's parents are famous for making Indian Fry Bread.  Some of you might remember they used it sell it by the temple during the Christmas Lights and Easter Pageant. That's when I first had it.  I LOVE it. It is amazing. They stopped selling it years ago, but every so often Denna and her sister Cathrine sell it for fundraisers like girls camp, scouts etc. Luckily I married into the family so we would get a text when they did it. And as I mentioned, I LOVE it. Unfortunately now Cathrine is not only having a fundraiser without Denna, but for Denna.

We will be having an Indian Fry Bread Sale to benefit the Denna Strebe Family. This will be a donations sale.  On Saturday, Oct. 8th 2011
10:00am - 3:00pm
             1912 E Jensen St. Mesa AZ 85203
Donations can also be made at any Chase bank under the name of the
             "Denna Strebe Memorial Trust."

If you have time it would be wonderful if you could help this family out. I will be out of town but will be donating before I leave. I'm soooo sad to be missing out on the fry bread :) It's delish! Thanks everyone. Loves to all!
