Two Months

Well Miss Hadley aka Big Boss Wootan is 2 months old. She runs the show that's for sure.  I luckily realized that I was driving myself crazy trying to do what I'd read, been told and heard. None of it matters. I'm going to do what I want to do with my baby and it has made such a difference. We are doing so much better. This past month has been ridiculous. So so much fun. Hadley is a different child these days.  She's almost always happy, she'll sit on her own for longer increments of time. She smiles and talks to us so much.  She's started copying whatever sounds we make.  She is doing wonderful. Her chubbiness  has doubled. She's so freaking cute I can't even stand it.  I wanted to post this on the 24th but I have so many dang pictures of course I missed the deadline. Oh well, what can you do.  Anywho, here is what we've been doing.....

We went on our first vacation! Just Hadley and I, Tanner had to work.  The end of July we headed to Utah for the Kleinman family reunion. She did great on her first road trip. We almost didn't go because I was worried she'd cry the entire time but she was really good. And I had tons of help. Here we are in Flagstaff.

She finally met Aunt Ciera! Who has been away at school.  We told her we couldn't come so she'd be surprised.  When she walked in and started hugging everyone I walked out holding Hadley. Needless to say it was a happy/loud/ tearful moment. And poor Kylee who was hugging Ciera at the time might need a hearing aid at now :)

Heading home, tired from all the fun.

This cracks me up.  Now most of you probably know that Shark Week is an annual holiday at my house. One night I noticed Hadley watching the tv out of the corner of her eye.  She's not in front of the tv, she's off to the side, but she still kept her eyes on it for quite a long time.  Like mother like daughter. Maybe we'll go on our cage dive together someday.

Wearing her jeweled sandals.
Wearing the shoes Aunt Andrea mader her. With Aunt Andrea, Daisy and Rosie

She loves baths so we figured she might like swimming. She loved it. We took her over to Uncle BJ and Aunt Candi's. She was in heaven.

The moment Tanner has been waiting his whole life for. Taking his daughter to the golf course. He already has a set of pink miniature golf clubs picked out inside the clubhouse.

Going on our first walk. She loves to be outside. When she's really fussy Tanner will take her out front, she stops crying immediately. He comes in dripping sweat and she's smiling. It's hilarious.

Showing off her shoes
Yeah!!!!!  We finally like our swing!  She'll sit in it for a little while now. If she's asleep I can put her in it and she'll sleep for hours and hours.

I walked over to check on her, she had wiggled way down under her blankets. You can see her hand and a small part of her face peaking out.
We have discovered our mobile..... And we are in love.  She just sits and smiles and makes all kinds of noises as it plays.  Tanner sang "You Are My Sunshine" to her all the time while I was pregnant. That's the song, maybe that's why she likes it so much.

Finally sitting on her own for a while at a time.
I decided to be brave one afternoon while Tanner was golfing. Hadley and I headed to Paradise Bakery for lunch. She did AMAZING. I was able to eat most of my food before she got upset. Not the best picture, just her in her car seat while I enjoyed my food.

Watching Golf with Dad. I don't think either of them moved for at least 10 minutes.
Sitting in Daddy's car, just can't see daddy.

She loves Grandma. She does so well with her. When my mom has her I never worry because I know Hadley is so relaxed and comfortable with her.
Talking to Aunt Ciera
I went in for my 6 week check up. All is well. Yeah!!!  I wanted a picture of Hadley and Joelle. She was our nurse practitioner, we saw her every other month our entire pregnancy. She is literally one of my most favorite people on the planet. I can honestly say I love her.  I usually have to wait a while so I thought I'd feed Hadley while I sat in the exam room. Well Joelle came right in and wanted to hold her so I took her off. Then I fed her a little more and took her off for Joelle to examine me. Started to feed her again and realized I hadn't taken a picture so I took her off.  Now my daughter bless her heart has a temper. If she's hungry and I face her outward she knows she's not facing the right way for food and goes nuts on me. Well this next picture is Miss Hadley being taken away from her food for a third time and has had it. If I were to put a title to this pic it would be "Are You FREAKING Kidding Me?"

First day of school. She has done sooo well. She has her moments but for being at work all day she is doing fabulous.  I only do small groups at a time so I'm able to have her with me all day. All the kids LOVE her, and they've done so well with her. They never touch her or any of her things. Sometimes some of them will touch her toes, but I don't mind that.

Here I was so exited she could start looking at things..... and she stares at the couch. But she holds her head up so well. :) Good job Baby Girl.
Having a heart to heart with Daddy after work. He was either telling her to stop growing so fast, or telling her to stay away from boys. They're both in his usual lecture.
All dressed up and no place to go..... oh no wait we go to work now. :)

When Tanner gets home they usually play around for a while.

Cutie pie.

My brother in law Josh's family is very kind and lets us have our Stradling Vaca at their cabin. We always have sooo much fun.

On the way up we stopped in Payson for some pizza and some pics.

We headed down to the lake to relax, fish and take pictures.

Tanner and Uncle J-Red enjoyed a nice quad ride after the rain.

The Last night we sat around the campfire. Roasted marsh mellows, talked and played Mafia.
And of course took some pictures.

Happy 2 months!!!!!

Getting the mail with Dad
It's fun but oh so sad to look back at all these pictures and see how quickly she is growing up. But I have to say at the same time I really can't wait to see what the next month is like. :)  Loves to all!
