9 Months Old, A Wedding and A Cruise (-March 24)

It's hard to believe that Hadley will soon be out longer than she was in :) She has more personality than I thought possible. She crawls everywhere, laughs constantly and every time she hears ANY music she dances. Or "Shakes and Bakes" as we call it. She's happy, happy, happy. If I ruled the world I'd be happy too :) No teeth yet but that's just fine. They'll be here soon enough. So without further ado.... Hadley in all her chubby glory.

We look forward to bath time every night. She's always loved them.

For Christmas Grammie and Papa (Tanner's parents) Got us all a cruise!!!! So the morning after the wedding  we headed to Cali to board our Disney Cruise to Mexico!!!!!!! 

I had so much anxiety leading up to our trip. I'm terrified of deep water. Especially the ocean. I had several panic attacks before we even left. I say panic attacks.... not that serious. Really just some uneasiness, shortness of breath and breaking out in a sweat. Just thinking about being surrounded by water and knowing what was under me. I thought that maybe when I got on the boat I'd be ok.... you know things are better when you're there. But I wasn't sure. The thought of it was petrifying. I was worried I'd see the boat, burst into tears and throw up or something embarrassing. I thought I would lie awake all night scared to death. I needed some kind of sleeping pill but I'm nursing so I couldn't. Plus I didn't want to be passed out asleep if something happened and couldn't save myself or Hadley. I hated packing. It bothered me that we could bring whatever we wanted. No limit to the bags.... that would be so heavy and would probably make the boat sink. And it's like a hotel, they'd have vacuums and cleaning supplies on board. Those are heavy too. You can see where my mind was... a little crazy. Worrying about the weirdest things. Didn't help that Tanner trying to help me one night said "what? are you afraid you're going to look over the edge and see a submarine under us?" What the Hell!!!! Submarines are like my worst nightmare. I can't even watch them on tv. So that comment didn't help. At all. All I could think of was giant waves crashing into our boat. Looking out our window and seeing a wall of water coming at us... You get the idea, I was scared.

But once we were on the boat I was totally fine. The first night I could hear a lot of creaking sounds. That was tough. But I got through it ok. I fell asleep and everything was good. The last two nights we had some bad weather so we could feel the ship rocking all night long. That was tougher but we survived. My father in law asked how I slept the last night. I said not too good. He said he didn't sleep and was sort of scared so he figured I was having a rough time. I think that once we were on our way and I saw that it was all calm water around us nothing really bothered me. A couple uneasy moments but nothing too bad. The funny thing is, when I look at the pictures now, seeing the water bothers me and makes me get that panic feeling again. More than when we were on the ship. I'd do it again though. In a heartbeat. It was amazing.

We spent the morning on the boat. We didn't get to Cabo till about two in the afternoon.

I bought her a 9 month swim suit.... because she wouldn't even be 9 months on the cruise. Ya way too small. Poor thing had rolls and cleavage squishing out every which way. Hahahah

Back on the ship that night was "Pirate Night". Oh my gosh, so much fun!!! Later they had a Pirate show, fireworks and a midnight buffet. Awesome.

On a side note/history lesson. Disney is the only cruise line that is allowed to have fireworks. Because when the Titanic went down they set off their fireworks as a signal for help. Anyone that could see them just thought the ship was celebrating. :( Kind of sad to think about. Anyway they banned fireworks after that. Except for Disney.

March 16th- More Cabo.

Back in Cabo again we decided to go jet skiing. Awesome. Terrifying but awesome. No pics though :(

I took the kids that night so Candi could go with BJ to the show. She was so kind to watch Hadley for me another night.  The kids loved hanging out.

I wanted them to hold Hadley but they're only allowed to if they're sitting, Tiana can't sit so I got to join in the photo. :)  Everyone was so impressed with Hadley. How she smiled at the camera every time.

March 18th- Last day :(
This is our dear, dear Tumi. One of our waiters. Oh my gosh how much do we love him?  I already told him that when I make it to South Africa for my shark dive I'll be staying with him.

Sniff Sniff. I wish I could give everyone a trip on the Disney Wonder. We had more fun than I can express. Of course being with Tanner's entire family was amazing and so much fun!!!!!  For me there is just something incredible about Disney. They go above and beyond to make every thing. every detail perfect. The spirit and atmosphere on the ship was something I don't feel anywhere else. Happy, kind and full of hope and dreams. If anyone ever has the chance to go, DO IT! You will not be disappointed. Thank you to my in laws for such a wonderful trip. And to the entire Wootan family for being so dang fun.  We laughed and laughed and are still laughing about things that happened. I wish every family could have this experience. :)

Our first day back at school.  She played with Aunt Savanna alot.... but now Savanna is married and living in Philadelphia. Hadley is going into her room looking for her....... thanks Savanna for abandoning my daughter :) Just kidding we know you miss us and will be back in AZ asap!!!! At least we hope. :)

Nine whole months!!! She has one tooth coming in and has handled it like a champ. I only know she has one because I felt it. She's been happy as can be :)  She waves hi and bye bye, loves to dance. Loves to go for rides in the car around the block, if she can steer. Is getting into everything. Crawls up our entire staircase without any help. Says Da  da and Ma ma. Her personality is beyond anything I could have hoped for. She is such a sweetheart and we are so thankful to have her. We are truly blessed.
